Dr. Laurie Glassman

Dr. Laurie Glassman, MD, FAAP, was born in New York and raised in suburban New Rochelle. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Brown University, Rhode Island in 1987. During her undergraduate years, she pursued additional training in education at New York University and earned her New York State Certification in Special Education for grades K-12. After a year teaching preschool, Dr. Glassman enrolled in Brown University School of Medicine and graduated in 1992. She remained in Rhode Island to complete her pediatric residency training program at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children's Hospital in 1995. Dr. Glassman has enjoyed practicing at Children's Medical Group since 1995. She resides in Bethany with her husband, three children and pet dog and rabbits. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and pets.
